Is the X2-10GB-LRM compatible with 10GBASE-SR?
I have a 6500 with X2-10GB-LRM and a server with this NIC: The 10 Gigabit Ethernet-SR PCI Express Adapter is a low-profile, high performance fiber network interface controller (NIC). The product conforms to the IEEE, 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR specification for Ethernet transmission.
Thanks for your answer

Hi Gerardo,
X2-10GB-LRM uses 1300 nm wavelength, while the SR usues 850 nm wavelength.
If the Sever GBIC using the 850 nm wavelenght then you have to get the X2-10GB-SR GBIC.
Thanks
