Hi there,
I was wondering if I can use CUCM 7.1 connecting through a SIP Trunk to Voipbuster or anyother SIP provider.
Thanks.

This question has been asked on the forum many times. Please search the forum before opening a thread.
Short answer is: maybe (baring the need for authentication, NAT, and other issues); however, it is NOT recommended. This is what CUBE was designed for. UCM is not intended to be externally facing.

Just to add something, a full list and plenty of discussion of why it's a bad idea can be found in the ask the expert for SIP trunks.

I think that I did search on the Forum before putting this question. All those questions were related to the older versions of the CUCM and not 7.1.3. I've installed CUCM 7.1.3 at home and was testing if I can connect my home lab to Voipbuster for testing purposes.
