Hi,
I have a doubt regarding to IP phone license taking into account the new routers 39xx.
For this new model I know I have to get the features licenses e.g. FL-CME-SRST-25, but what about the phone licenses??, do I need to get
licenses for IP phone?. or is enough with the feature license?
I have been looking any doc for this issue.
Regards

As referenced in my post it matters what call control you are ussing. Lets assume you are going to use this bundle with CME. Then this comes with a 25 user license for CME. You would then purchase the phones without the RTU license attached to them, they have the = sign after the part number.

The phones also requires licenses, that your reseller should be able to help you with.
However, the licenses are not enforced.

Are you going to use the router as CME or SRST? If CME then that bundle includes 25 CME Right to Use licenses. If SRST then it includes 25 SRST RTU licenses but you need to purchase RTU licenses for Call Manager.

I did not notice these are specific to G2 and may have give the wrong answer.
Still I can't find any positive indication that the phone licenses are included with the P/N mentioned.

Hi Bill,
thanks for your info.
I will use CME and the number of phones will be 155, so I consider the following features license: FL-CME-SRST-100, FL-CME-SRST-25, FL-CME-SRST-5 in order to support the number of phones requested (155).
