Hi all,
Can any one tell me the procedure to recover the system admin password on Cisco security manager and CSM Client.
We have the admin equivalent password created and this is working fine, but the system admin password is lost.
Please advice.

Let me explain in more detail
1. Go to Command prompt.
2. stop CSM service by typing "net stop crmdmgtd"
3. go to Program files->CSCopx>bin> resetpasswd.exe -f admin
4. Then it will prompt you to change the password for the admin user
5. After the change is made, start CSM services by "net start cmrdmgtd"
Here is a doc that explains it http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6498/products_tech_note09186a0080a337eb.shtml
I hope it is more clear now.

Please run
C:\Program Files\CSCOpx\bin\resetpasswd.exe with the admin as an option.
I hope it helps.
