Hi all,

My customer needs to make voice conference solution lets users to join a confernces from anywhere in the world but after prompting them to enter conference ID & conference password.Different users can join different conferences according to Conf ID & conf. password.I need also to be more than one separated conference at the same time.

Is that possible using CUCM 6.1 with its own s/w conference resources without using external conference solution.

Note:

I need to be around 80 participant per conference.

Also each conf. has its own conf. ID & password.

Hi Youssef,

This type of setup is "not" available natively in CUCM (any version)

MeetingPlace can be used exactly for this purpose. Audio Conferences can be setup using the Touch Tone interface;

With the Reservationless Meetings feature, profile users can create impromptu meetings through their touch-tone phones without having to schedule the meetings in advance. Using a unique meeting ID reserved for each user (the user's profile ID), participants can conduct meetings whenever system resources are available and use all available features during the meeting.

An immediate meeting is one that starts right away (when the Reservationless Meetings feature is not enabled). Users can schedule immediate meetings through the telephone interface, Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing, or in the MeetingTime Schedule tab.
