Does anybody knows if I can use the following features on the HWIC-D-9ESW card:

1.Port Security (I saw something that refer only to mac limiting…)

2.EEM

Is there any limitations running these features on that kind of card ?

Thanks,

Hello Ran,

features restrictions are listed in 12.4T IOS LAN switching configuration guide

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/lanswitch/configuration/guide/lsw_hwic_ethsw_ic_ps6441_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html#wp1043334

and specifically for port security:

There is a limit of 200 secure MAC addresses per module that can be supported by an EtherSwitch HWIC.

Maximum traffic for a secure MAC address is 8 Mb/s.

EEM is not mentioned in this document

You can find help for EEM in network management forum.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
