Hi,
I need additional Fast Ethernet ports on a Cisco 2821 router.
I read that the C2821 supports the following:
- up to two HWIC-1FE
- 1 HWIC-2FE
Can I use 2 HWIC-1FE and 1 HWIC-2FE on the same C2821?
I was wondering whether the limitation means either 2 HWIC-1FE or 1 HWIC-2FE.
I'm attaching the related Cisco doc.
Thanks for your help!
Frank

Reza,
Thanks for your feedback.
I talked/chated with various Cisco product experts. They told me that I can't use both on a C2821 router. It's either 2 HWIC-1FE or 1 HWIC-2FE, not both... Therefore, the C2821 router can support two additional routed fast ethernet ports only...
Thanks,
Frank
