Hi,

As per my understanding you want to know the switch model which can be used for traffic controll on port based or vlan based. If yes then

cisco 3750 series

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12.1_19_ea1/configuration/guide/swtrafc.html

cisco 3560 G series

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3560/software/release/12.2_25_se/configuration/guide/swtrafc.html

and even cisco 2950

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst2950/software/release/12.1_9_ea1/configuration/guide/swtrafc.html

Check out the link for the above switches as all these switches are modular with 24 and 48 ports availabe.

Hope that helps
