How to prevent Multicast source from flooding the source VLAN?

Hi,

I have server (multicast source) which is connected to a switch port. The switch port is part of VLAN10. Other servers are part of VLAN 10 including a few receivers.

IGMP snooping is configured on the switch. When the Source is on, I see that every port on VLAN10 receive the multicast packet.

I think this behavior is caused by the source sending the traffic.

How to restrict the Multicast source from flooding the VLAN?

Easy solution is to isolate the source on specific VLAN (not possible).

or IGMP snooping is disabled on vlan 10, or you are facing a bug about IGMP snooping or the source is sending traffic to one special address like 224.0.0.1 all devices on subnet or other 224.0.0.x address

Only possible workaround I can think of is to put this server in a new different vlan if the used group is appropriate.
