Hi,

can somebody please help me, i am not able to install the spa525_DE_7_2_5.xml via TFTP.

I have copyed the file (also spa525_EN_7_2_5) to my tftp directory and started my tftp server.

In my SPA525G webinterface at regional settings i inserted

serv=tftp//192.168.2.2/;d0=English-US;x0=spa525_EN_7_2_5.xml;d1=German;x1=spa525_DE_7_2_5.xml

192.168.2.2    my tftp server

192.168.2.102 my SPA525G

I am able to chose german now at the phone, but the language is still english !!

Thank you

Hi alexander.groh,

What you have looks good except for perhaps, a small syntax issue. Please try a colon after the tftp:

serv=tftp://192.168.2.2/;d0=English-US;x0=spa525_EN_7_2_5.xml;d1=German;x1=spa525_DE_7_2_5.xml

Please verify that:

  • The Regional tab > Language > Language Selection: German
  • The TFTP server is receiving a request for the file
  • The TFTP server sends the file without error [TFTP server's error log / access log should help with this]
  • The xml file that you have is the SPA525G xml file and not the SPA5x5 xml file [they're different]

Regards,

Patrick
