Hello,

I need help in converting my E1 internet connection to my router.

I have a  modem from my isp which has two bnc connections.... one labeled "in" and one labeled "out" both at E1 75 ohms...

I have a cisco router with an E1 Wic card installed (rj45)...

I need to convert the signal.  I have a balun and a 10 base2 to 10 baset converter.

I have tried both individually and am not getting results.

Am I on the right track?? is there something anyone can suggest?? or where to purchase it??

I would really appreciate any help.

Thanx.....Omar

Which card do you have? send "show diag".

You do not need a balun.

Under controller  E1, configure line-termination 75.

Then make an appropriate cable, or buy the cisco one.
