Hi,
I would like to monitor CS-MARS, itself, with using SNMP monitoring tool, like OpenView, etc...
Can we use SNMP V2c or even SNMP V3 polling to CS-MARS?
I am not sure weather SNMP V3 is supported on CS-MARS or not...
OpenView -----> Polling (SNMP V3) ----> CS-MARS
Thank you

MARS does not support SNMP AFAIK. You have to reply on ping or scripts to check its functionality. Or any tool which can telnet to the MARS' services ports to check their availability.

hi
it is possible, to forward cisco mars internal logs to remote syslog server?
I would like to collect cisco mars only internal logs
example:
-login/logout
-configuration modifications
-ruls modifications
- etc...
I can do it with these commands?
syslogrelay setcollector xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
syslogrelay src include ANY

The commands you mentionded will export all logs and not MARS specific ones (Internal), as far as I know.
You can view the backend or GUI logs from the MARS CLI or Web interface, not so sure about the export capability. Will look into this and get back to you if I find something.

There is currently no method to automatically export internal CS-MARS logs for auditing/storage.
