Issue about ASA 5510 failover, Heartbeat

Hi all,

Me and my colleague have an argument about the heartbeat's link,

Is the asa support two links of heartbeat or just one?

One of our customer want to achieve two links of heartbeat (redandant issue), but can it done with the asa 5510?

Hi,

hearbeat link can be of two type one failover link and stateful failover and it can only two between two firewall devices,check out the below link hopw this clears out your query !!

Alternatively, you could have the link failover with the "interface redundant" method
