Single Authentication for Windows Wireless Domain clients

I was looking for guidance or decent documentation on how to get a windows xp or 7 machine to authenticate via 802.1x to our wireless and login into our domain in a single step.

We currently have wireless clients login to a local workgroup and then authenticate to our wireless network. This works fine for how we utilize wireless but want to start expanding our service to better mirror wired services.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Basically what you need to do, is allow the machine to login to the domain prior to login, machine authentication.  Windows does this by default, but the Intel Proset, CSSC etc can do it as well. but it does require that the machine belong to the domain you are try to login to.  Take a look at the PEAP docuements and walk throughs here:
