Solved: Polycom phones on callmanager.

I have the following Polycom

Phones,i want to to have them working on callmanager(ver 7.1.3).

Make: Polycom IP Phone
Model: SoundStation IP 7000 SIP

Make: Polycom IP Phone
Model: SoundPoint IP 650 SIP

My question is:

1.Are these phone models supported on callmanager?

2.Is it possible to convert Dlus(for cisco phones) aleady registered on the callmanager to third party DLUs?

Hi,

1. You can use any SIP phone as 3rd party SIP, so your polycoms are good to go.

2. Check with Cisco licensing team.

Hi Nicholas,

Just to add a note to the good tips from Konrad (+5 points K)

Third-party device license units: Third-party DLUs can be converted to Cisco units, but not vice versa.
