Hi,

I have tried ot enable SNMP on a GSS 4492R-K9 running 3.1(0) software and while the status say's it's enabled it doesn't seem to be working. Viewing the Services it seems it hasn't actually started as a service:

START  SERVICE
14:35  Ntp
   ?    Snmp
14:35  Syslog
14:36  Tacacs Stats
   ---  Ftp            [DISABLED]
   ---  Ssh            [DISABLED]
   ---  Telnet         [DISABLED]

I also get this entry in the log:

Jan 12 14:44:59 ib SYS-3-SERVICES[3329] Service Snmp is not running but should be.

Are there some pre-requisites that I'm missing or should it be a simple case of enabling SNMP.
