hunt Group - questions - forward hunt no answer to vm

CUCM 6.1 BE

created a LG with extensions 201-205 - these are not the users main extensions. They show on the users second line.

When no1 picks up the call into the HP it should go to VM and all the users in the LG should see the message that is left.

how can I achive this?

Ok...

I think I am getting somewhere.

I was able to get the Hunt to VM

But now getting the vm to show for all of the LG people is my next step.

Create a subscriber with the DN from the hunt pilot, set the DNs from those users as alternate extensions.

I did some more research on here and found something else

add the extensions of the LG to MWI settings of the VM box of the subsciber

so I have a LG of dn's 201-205

HP of 571 with FHNA to dn 206

206 is a ctiRP which fwd's to vm

then

added the extensions of the LG to MWI settings of the VM box of the subsciber(206) - reson why I did this is because the LG dn's are users secondary dn's. They only have VMfor their main dn's.

It techinically works but not sure if it's the best practice.
