Hi I have a problem installing WS-SVC-CMM module in 6509-E. The problem is that the module goes down and stays in that state.

Hi  Goce,

Is this a new installation or an older one?

Are you using this module with Sup720-10G in VSS configuration. If yes, then it is not  supported in VSS configuration.

If it is not the VSS configuration or you are using SUP720, you needed miniumum 12.2(13)ZP1 or later on the CMM module as it runs its own software.

As requested by Jon , please paste the output of " Show module ".

Hi guys,

The IOS on the CMM module is wscmm-i6k9s-mz.124-3g.bin and this is the output of the show commands on 6509-E. Also you can notice, right now the CMM module is not in this chasis, it's still in the old 6509 (not 6509-E) chasis. It is not working in VSS mode also

I tried looking around and found out that you might be hitting a software bug on the CMM. Try upgrading the CMM software to

12.4.10T in the T train or to atleast 124-21 or the latest one in the mainline train.
