It seems the more that i research the more confused I'm getting. We are planning an upgrade of our Contact Center from 5.x to 7.x along with CUCM 6.x. I was told that BARS would be used to backup our current setup, but I thought that BARS only worked with 4.x. Can someone please set me straight.
As of CRS 5.x backup and restore functionality is embedded within AppAdmin. Traditional BARS, using CM as the BARS "backup server" and CRS as a "backup target", is no longer supported. For more information take a look at the "Backing-up and Restoring Data" section in the Administration Guide.
