Hi, I have two Nexus 7000 working as Core-1 and Core2. I have already many VLANS added in spanning-tree. Now I have to add two NEW Vlan 335 & 336.
Which command I have to run so that I should not disturb the current setup? Please help.
Core-1
spanning-tree vlan 64-126,300-301,332,668-670,900,998 priority 8192
spanning-tree vlan 64-126,300-301,332-333,668-670,900,998 hello-time 4
Core-2
spanning-tree vlan 64-126,300-301,332,668-670,900,998 priority 16000
spanning-tree vlan 64-126,300-301,332-333,668-670,900,998 hello-time 4

Hi Rupesh,
You can use the spanning-tree vlan vlan-range root primary command to configure a predictable STP root bridge for that particular vlan and check out the below link hope this helps out your query !!

Hopefully if I run, spanning-tree vlan 335,336 priority 8192 command, it will NOT Override my existing configuration "spanning-tree vlan 64-126,300-301,332,668-670,900,998 priority 8192"
Please confirm

Hi Rupesh,
It should not if you see you have already configured this switch as root bridge for these specific vlans spanning-tree vlan 64-126,300-301,332,668-670,900,998 priority 8192" and now you want to configure root bridge for vlan 335,336.
So switch will be root bridge for the above two vlan also including the remaing vlans.
Hope that clear your query !!
