ACE : Problem with Connexion reset

Hi

we have a plateform ACE on our network to loadbalance a website.

we have a problem with one website (website shopping).

there are a user who have their connection are reset by ACE or Rserver (i don't know).

We use a insert cookie (Sticky).

we see a time_wait on rserver.

we have a time out on insert cookie at 5 min. have to increase ?

can you help me ?

One common cause of connection resets is HTTP headers that are too large for the base-line ACE configuration. This can happen if there are a lot of cookies sent by the server web application (use a tool like HTTP Fox to see the headers).

If the maximum (4K I believe?) is exceeded, the ACE simply sends a TCP RST.

You can up the maximum HTTP Header size with an HTTP parameter map.
