UK PRI settings

I don't suppose you can help me out with UK PRI (ISDN30) settings?

I've set it as an E1 ISDN30 Primary NET5. There is then an option for Bearer Capability that I can't find a standard setting for.

CD light comes on next to the PRI port, but incoming calls get a BT The number you have dialled is tempoararily unavailable message.

Any hints grately received.

Thanks,

Adam

Not a bad guide.  Have you tried isdn incoming-voice voice command?

Thanks,

I've gone through this guide.

I'm getting this in a debug isdn q921:

004193: ISDN Se0/3/0:15 Q921: User RX <- BAD FRAME(0x0E05EF)
004194: ISDN Se0/3/0:15 Q921: User RX <- BAD FRAME(0x0E21EF)

004209: ISDN Se0/3/0:15 Q921: User RX <- BAD FRAME(0x0E13EF)

(and loads more)

and show isdn status shows:

Global ISDN Switchtype = primary-net5
ISDN Serial0/3/0:15 interface
        dsl 0, interface ISDN Switchtype = primary-net5
    Layer 1 Status:

    Layer 2 Status:

    Active dsl 0 CCBs = 0
    The Free Channel Mask:  0x00000000

I'm finding contradictary advice as to whether TEI_ASSIGNED is good or bad. Any advice?

Thanks,

Adam

Try this under the Serial Interface (D channel):

isdn protocol emulate network Marcos

I think I may have identified an incompatability with the ISDN 30 line and the cisco kit, so I'll ask the question in a different way:

Is the UC520 compatible with a DASS signalled ISDN 30 line (i.e. not ETSI ISDN30e)?

Looks like I'll have to have the line converted, but if you can give me a yes/no answer it would help.

Thanks,

Adam

UC500 are not compatible with DASS. Need to get ISDN upgraded to ISDN30e. Had the exact same problem. Will be chargable from BT at £10 a channel (capped at £600). Make sure your telco doesnt rip you off ;)
