Do you need the 1150W power supply to drive 1252 APs connected to a 3560?

Can you use a 750W power supply instead?

If you can use a 750W power supply, how many AP's can you drive connected to a 24-port 3560E

I have this problem too.

Note: I just tried to run the power calculator on the 3560E-24PD w/ 750W power supply, but it won't let me add any devices that require >15.4W of power.

I would use the larger power supply. On a midspan PoE supply from PowerDsine you need the 9000 series with a 1000 watt power supply.

In order for you to use the 1250 with both radios operational, you need a switch that supports PoE+, up to 20W.  The candidates are the 3560E, 3750E or the Sup720.  However, if you upgrade the firmware of your IOS to 12.4(10b)JDA3, this will allow you to use the 1250 (with both radios operational) with standard PoE support 15.4w but at a cost of LOWER MCS RATES.

Hope this helps.
