would like to know if there’s a way to restrict Linksys ATAs(mainly SPA2102/3102-R) and IP Phones(SPA 9x2/500series) to only accept SIP invites from the IP they register to? Can’t seem to find a parameter that would suggest it can, so it’s either it can’t or I’m not just seeing it.

Anybody?

Thanks in advance.

For SPA2102/3102 have a look at

Restrict Source IP parameter under the Line

Restrict Source IP : Permit/prohibit the SPA device from accepting SIP packets from anywhere other than the registered SIP proxy

If configured, the PAP2T will drop all packets sent to its SIP Ports originated from an untrusted IP address. A source IP address is untrusted if it does not match any of the IP addresses resolved from the configured Proxy.

For SPA9XX/SPA5xx have a look at

Auth INVITE: When enabled, authorization is required for initial incoming INVITE requests from the SIP proxy
