Can i configure the 540 to run SPCP on certain extensions and then SIP on others. Im working on a design in which I'll have SPA500 phones at certain locations and polycom conference (SIP Phones) at other locations and I'm not sure if the 540 will support both types of traffic at one time
Yes this is possible. The UC can run both at the same time, but the SIP phone is not configurable via CCA.
