Ingree and Egress Gateway Pros and Cons

Hi All,

I need to know the pros and cons of a Gateway if we are deploying it .

1. 1-Line Model (Both Ingress & Egress)

2. 2-Line Model (Sperate Ingress and Egress).

and your recommendation which model is better.

That's depend on deployment model, if you are designing a single centerlize side then single Ingress and Egress is recommended.

Is this a CVP question?

If so, the branch office model works best with a combined router as you can use "SendToOriginator". Otherwise, SIG Digits - and that's much more complex.

Guys Thanks for reply,

Infact my question was, if we need to deploy 2 VGs and have a choice to deploy both gateways performing both functionalitis in it (Ingress & Egress) rather deploying them in 2-Line Model i.e. 1 Vg work as a Ingress and the 2nd as an Egress VG. So what are the pros and cons of these scenarion.

Any way i found some pros and cons.
