How do you reset the password from a console connection on an 1142n AP?

How do you reset the password on an 1142n AP?  I had this AP joined to a controller previously(I don't manage that controller) and now I'm moving it elsewhere on the network(different subnet).  I reset the AP using the mode button down for 60 seconds while powering up, and then typed reset at the ap: prompt.  The AP reboots and then when I try to enter the default enable password of Cisco, that password does not work.  I'm assuming when it joined the controller the controller folks have a password that gets put on it but the reset of the AP does not reset that password.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Make sure the LAP boots up using the "rcv" IOS image.  When it does, in enable mode, enter the command "clear lwapp private".   Hope this helps.
