Solved: external music on hold source

Hi all. Id like to put an external music on hold source hooked up to an UC500. If I went out and bought a MP3 player, would I plug the headphone jack of the MP3 player into the moh jack of the UC500 and that would work, provided I changed the config to reflect that it would be playing what came in on that port? Thanks all.

Yes but be advised that in most countries you are required to pay additional royalties on any music that you use for this purpose. You should speak with your legal counsel for direction before proceeding.
