Dear Friends,
I recently purchased some Sunfire X4140 X64 servers believing that I will be able to run my LMS3.2 on the servers.
I intended to install Solaris 10 and then LMS3.2 on top.
However when I try to install the LMS I get the following message:

INFO: DHCP not enabled in this machine.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Is there a possibility that LMS3.2 will run on X86/X64 hardware? If someone has encountered this problem how did they go round this issue. I did not intend to run the Windows version of the same.
I welcome any comments and suggests as I am at my wits end.
Regards,
Gibson

Only a few solaris 10 versions are supported
The following Solaris 10 releases are supported in LMS 3.2:
–Solaris 10, 10/08 release
–Solaris 10, 05/08 release
–Solaris 10, 08/07 release
–Solaris 10, 11/06 release
And there are some other restrictions mentioned and some patches.
If it is not that then I guess you need to open an SR.
Cheers,
Michel

LMS is not supported on Solaris running on x86 processors and I doubt it will...
have a look at the FAQ section in this document:
[...]
Q. Is LMS 3.2 supported on Solaris x86 (on the x86 CPU)?
A. No, LMS 3.2 is not supported on Solaris x86.
[...]
it is also very well documented here:
with a list of supported processors and releases for Solaris:
[....]
The following are the supported processors on a Solaris system:
UltraSPARC III
UltraSPARC IIIi processor
UltraSPARC IV processor
UltraSPARC IV+ processor
UltraSPARC T1 processor
UltraSPARC T2 processor
UltraSPARC T2+ processor (Supported only on Solaris 10)
SPARC64 VI processor (Supported only on Solaris 10)
SPARC64 VII processor (Supported only on Solaris 10)

It seems you are running out of options. There is nothing which can make LMS to be installed in a x64 architecture.
The available options are restricted to choose between Win (x86/x64 both) or Sol 10 (x86), supported versions only.
This is a because even if you get something now to tweak around and pass through, in future if there will be any other issues the TAC would guide you to re-install the software on supported platform.
-thanks
