Hi,

glbp group load-balancing host-dependent

might be the way.

See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2t/12_2t15/feature/guide/ft_glbp.html#wp1044078

But my understanding is the particular host will always use the same router as the gateway, but you have no chance to configure which one - it's somehow calculated by the GLBP group based on the PC MAC address.

So you configure you GLBP group, connect your PC and observer which gateway it takes.

As long as the number of GLBP group members remains unchanged (not sure what happens if one of the routers is powered off), it will always take the same router.

Does this help?

Hi haris,

For your query host-dependent Specifies a load balancing method based on the MAC address of a host where the same forwarder is always used for a particular host while the number of GLBP group members remains unchanged.
