For Unity versions prior to 4.1 (and UC 1.x) here is an excellent answer from Jeff @ Cisco;

Hi Rob
Thanks for the reply.
I am looking for the solution to get rid of the transfermessage for Unity connection versions 2.X.
I can't find that in the links.

Thomas

Hey Thomas,
No worries my friend
I should have verified your version before searching for those "lost" links.
I have not seen anyone actually accomplish this with UC 2.x due to the
need for the root password (Linux) to try and get at this prompt.
There is a nice answer from Gonz here;
https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/1116260#1116260
Of course the ability to remove this Prompt is "built-in" with Unity
Connection 7.x.
Cheers!

Just as a side note, in Connection 7.0(1) and later you can turn this prompt (and the "I'll record your message at the tone") off using system configuration options instead of hacking and slashing the prompts - and it's fully supported.
