Hello.  We are looking to connect a 2960 switch to our 6509 using an etherchannel/port-channel group.  Is there a limit on the number of physical ports that can participate in a single port-channel group?  Thanks for the help!

Yes, you can have a maximum of 8 physical ports in the etherchannel bundle. They need to the the same speed/duplex.

Be aware that the 2960 will only support a total of 6 etherchannels per switch.
