7206 VXR - WCCP High CPU

7206 VXR NPG-2 - When i enable WCCP, CPU shoot up from 20% to 70%.

Can anyone please let me know which IOS version should i use so CPU utilization not goes high.

I configure basic configuration.

what is the output of:

show proc cpu sort | ex 0.00

show version

show run | i cef

Kindly check the attached file, note WCCP is disable right now.

are you terminating PPPoE on the Router ??

beside that you wil have to enable wccp and then type the same command, and tell me the output.

There could be 2 reasons for high cpu utilization, either a bug or cef could be disabled on the input interface, but it will clear the things when you will enable wccp v2 and check the cpu usage.
