Does 7600 series router supports modular os or its equivalent?

does nay one knows abt the router 7600 series supports modular os

as per my understanding only 6500 series switch and GSR series supports the above .

help required.

Hi

As far as i know GSR and CRS routers supports Modular OS with IOS XR installed in the main RP.

I dont think both 6500 and 7600 supports the same. 6500 supports a feature called VSS which helps to bundle 2 physical chassis onto a single logical chassis.

Sup 32 & Sup 720 supports modular IOS but it's popularity is wanning.

Sad.
