Stop single 7912 displaying LineID information ?

I have a single 7912 handset in a lobby used for self-service. Visitor arrives, lifts handset, PLAR to huntgroup or equivalent and speaks to someone in the back office. However, I need to stop this particular handset displaying the name and ext number of the person it connects to.


I am not talking about removing or restricting the callerID/line information that is SENT from this phone, I am talking about stopping this handset displaying what is configured as the "Alerting Name" on the destination line that it is finally connected to (after going through huntgroup or 3rd party ACD), so ultimately controlling what it RECIEVES.


Is there any way to do this, or reduce the functionality of the screen of a single handset in any way ? - otherwise I am going to have to physically obscure the screen with a sticker or label etc.
