1 quick question. I'm about to take my switching exam in a month or so. Which is before the July 31st deadline. Will I be ok after i take the exam to move on and take the new routing and TShoot exams to complete my CCNP? Reason i ask is because I've just spent alot of money on the current switching exam materal.

Not sure I like the new "Route" (BSCI) course outline?? Looks like they may have "dumbed" parts of it down a bit, I get the feeling it steers away from in BGP more than BSCI did. I hate the thought of the certs becoming less prestigious somehow

Looks like were jsut going to have to wait and see on this one.....

I have a similar question, I have already passed the BSCI 642-901 and I'm going to take the BCMSN 642-812 in a month. If I cannot finish the current CCNP track before july 31, will I have to take the 642-902 and 642-813 or will the 642-901 and 642-812 still apply to the new track after july 31?

I guess what I'm asking is, will the 642-901 BCSI be accepted for the 642-902 ROUTE Indefinitely and will the 642-812 BCMSN be accepted for the 642-813 SWITCH indefinitely? (IE as long as your certs are current) Or will the current BSCI and BCMSN no longer be accepted after a certain date forcing one to retake the ROUTE and SWITCH exams instead?
