Upgrading the firmware on 7961 IP Phone

Hi,

Running UCM 6.1.3.

Need to upgrade the firmware load on 7961 IP Phones.

Can it possible to upload the new firmware load manually in OS Administration>Managing TFTP Server Files >upload files and restart the TFTP service.

Can the IP Phone able to reload with the new firmare load????

You need to make sure the device defaults point to the new FW or to modify the load config for the phones you want to upgrade

Thanks for your reply.

You meant to say that manually uploading the firmware load in TFTP management and pointing the IP Phone to this firmare will upgrade with the new one.....right???
