Customer has an ASA 5500 at the corp office.  They will be terminating ipSec tunnels from approximately 25 remote locations onto this device.

The remote end will be hooked up via a cable modem, with a Cisco 811 router behind it.  The outside interface on the 811 will be a private address provided dynamically by the cable provider.

The desired outcome here is to be able to configure:    Remote workstation <-> Cisco 811 <=====ISP=====> 5500 <-> corporate core.

Outside interface on the ASA is public.

I've actually set this up and had it working with equipment from other manufacturers (where one end point is a private address that's being NAT'd).  But the last time I tried this ( a few years ago), this configuration was not possible with Cisco.

Has this changed so that it is now supported/possible?  Any links to any good docs on configuring this?

Thanks in advance/all help appreciated.
