Aironet 1142N - Autonomous to LWAP

Dear all,

I know it is possible to convert some AP models to operate as lightweight APs  - and this information is available at:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/conversion/lwapp/upgrade/guide/lwapnote.html

- but the problem is that I cannot find this ability explicitly stated anywhere with respect to the Aironet 1142N. It seems that a LWAP 1142N can be converted to operate autonomously but is the opposite easily achieved, and if so how?

Thanks,

Keith

Copy the "rcv" image into the LWAP and boot from it.  It's as simple as that.
