WCCP Load Balance

Dear Gurus,

How wccp support load balance of multiple cache engine (e.g BC) ? Does the ip wccp group-list command automatically configures it?

I'll be using 6509 with multiple BC as cache engines.

Hello Jeff,

your understanding is correct: the master cache decides how the IP flows of sessions are distributed among the set of web caches and provides info to the router(s)

Hi Guiseppe,

Yes, just created a group list and then it automatically balance to my 2 web cache engine with 50% hash allotment. The odd thing though is that evrytime i check the config on my router the wccp commands are gone though its working. Maybe bec. of the version?
