Hi,
I have a 4507 and just installed a 24-port 10/100 line card which is suppose to be compatible with the switch. But when I do Sh Conf, I do not see the ports.
With Sh Inventory, I do notice the switch detecting the line card just fine. I already have a 24-port 10/100/1000 line card which is working fine.
Thanks in advance

Was there a different module in that slot previously ?
Can you post output of a "sh ip interface brief"
Jon
01-28-2010 08:13 AM
Yes, there was a 6 port fiber module in that slot before.
Sh Ip int bri does show all 24 ports in slot one, but they are not shown in Sh conf.

While you are fixing things you might want to find out why one of your power supplies
shows bad ...
01-28-2010 04:13 PM
The switch is sitting in a small closet with only one outlet.....good catch.
