NSS4000 error on web UI Status page constantly

I have two NSS4000's. One is completely fine. The other displays


"System Alerts Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 46 bytes) in /www/html/main.inc on line 1389"


As soon as you log in and it stays on the status page constantly so there is no way to view alerts. I've tried updating the firmware and it was unsuccessful. Any assistance in this matter is kindly appreciated.

This is a problem related to XFS issue which consisted of number
issues such as memory allocation exhausted, shares disappeared from the
GUI, etc...



backup the configuration files and upgrade to the latest firmware...

If that does not fix your issue, you may have a defective unit...

You will need to contact CSBSC Cisco Small business support center  for a replacement since the boot-loaded can only be done internal only.

Make sure you have a CCOID before calling in. You can create a CCOID on cisco.com cite top right corner option label register
