SPA525G - Multiple calls - SCA - 1 call = 1 line key ?

Hello !

I have one question about SPA525G Cisco IP PHONE:

¿Is it possible to make call waiting go to next key line ?

Now, its working like:

-User starts a call, so line key 1 changes to red.

-If another call is sent to the phone, line key 1 starts to blink

According to the SPA500 Admin Guide, if we select in SCA Line Mapping: Vertical first, the call waiting should go to the line key 2.

In fact, this should not be an important problem, but when the call waiting enters in middle of a transfer action, its not easy to get back to the initial call.

Is it possible to work as the Linksys SPA962 ? One call = one line key ?

I have try to use ext1 as shared without success.

Dear Sir;

There is a defect filled for this issue. Stay tuned for a solution.

Regards

Alberto

This defect is pretty hard to deal with, makes explaining phone use to clients almost impossible and makes Cisco look unprofessional. We could use an update on this ASAP.

Bump - this issue needs to be resovled ASAP.

We are seeing this problem with the Line 1 key on the 509G with firmware 7.4.4 even when the line is set to private, but it does not occur with any of the other line keys on the phone. We worked around this issue by setting Line 1 to Disabled. Interestingly, this problem does not occur on the 501G phone with firmware 7.4.4. Is there any update on this problem?
