Unity Express 7.0.5 Adding Language

Hi,

I was following Cisco doc to add Canadian French into Unity Express 7.0.5. It went through with no errors and restarted. However, I still could not see the new added language installed. When I show software version detail, it still says global support and US English installed. Did I miss anything?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi Soup,

There are some good tips in the doc below;

If you are changing the default system language during an upgrade, then you must use the software install clean command.

Thanks for the quick replying.

I do not want to change the system default language. I only want to add one addtional language to an auto attendant. I thought by following the dow below, I am able to select the language setting of the AA from either GUI or CLI:

However, although it seems the installation was working fine. But I still cannot find the language option in GUI.

Hi Soup,

My bad! I thought you were changing the default language.

Can you give us the output from;

Enter the show software license command to display the base port license on the system and to display the number of ports available in the field "Total usable system ports". If a base port license is not available (this will be the case unless you have CUE-NME), "Total usable system ports" displays "24".


Note If you have not yet reloaded the system with the new license, the old license information appears.
