I have Cisco 2811 router and I have configured two different LANs.
Now I would like to connect them via FastEthernet0/0 and FastEthernet0/1.
LAN1(192.168.1.0) and LAN2 (10.1.0.0)
LAN1 is in FE0/0 and interface address is 192.168.1.1
LAN2 is in FE0/1 and interface address is 10.1.0.1
So, I would like to connect these two networks. What kind of routes I should do? How to connect FE0/0 and FE0/1 that ping will go between these ports?
I can't set router interface IP-address as my workstation default gateway address because I have another gateway address I am allready using.
My point is, how to configure router that it allows ping to go from FE0/0 to FE0/1 and from FE0/1 to FE0/0.
Now for example, ping from LAN1 worstation goes OK to interface 192.168.1.1 but does not respond if I try to ping 10.1.0.1
I don't want to change my workstation gateways so what I should do next? Thanks for help and sorry my bad English.
