AP 521 console configuration

Unanswered Question

Hi.

I have a Cisco 521 Acces Point - the standalone version.

It had some problems with the IOS and I made an up-grade.

It is now running the latest version: 12.4

I cannot configure the Acces Point from the web interface - most of the pages are missing or giving me script errors,

so I started to configure the AP fom console interface (via serial cable).

The network design is simple:

192.168.0.1 - a Linksys RV042 router acting as gateway, DHCP server and DNS proxy.

192.168.0.2 - Cisco 521 Acces Point

192.168.0.3 - Cisco Catalyst 2960 switch

Starting from 192.168.0.10 up to .100 I have a DHCP IP address range.

Below you can see the acces point configuration:

Here are the two problems I am facing:

1. Clients can associate to the wireless network (I see the message on the command line of the AP) but cannot get an IP addres by DHCP

2. When I set up an IP address manually (eg. 192.168.0.5/25, GW: 192.168.0.1, DNS: 192.168.0.1) on a computer connected to the wireless network, I can only ping the AP.

From the command line of the AP I can succesfully ping all the network devices (router, switch, printers, etc) and also I can ping the computer connected via wireless with the IP manually set up.

Please take a look at the configuration and tell me what can I do.

I have this problem too.
