Can a Telepresence 3000 be connected to a Video Conferencing solution from another vendor?

Hi,

I have a client who has implemented various Cisco Telepresence (CTS) 3000 systems within their organization but at present users can only communicate between the various Cisco CTS 3000 systems and anyone with a Video Conferencing setup from another vendor cannot connect to any Telepresence session.

Is there a way to open the Cisco CTS 3000 system to allow other users to connect to a telepresense meeting or allow the CTS 3000  to communicate with other vendor such as Polycom or Lifesize and even other Cisco Video Conferencing solutions.

You help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Mark,

You need CTMS server and CUVC to enable Interop

Interop has 2 flavors Legacy Interop and HD Interop

Look in our website and look for more detailed information but you need elements above

we have that deployment at Cisco and will a lot of customers
