PRI Outbound Problem, BELL Canada

Hi all,

I manage a Voice Gateway (2821)with a T1 Controller which is currently located in vancouver canada. I configured the Gateway and so far all inbound calls work very fine. The problem occurs at outbound calls. I try to set up a connection to an international number but all i get is two different operator messages. The international call is destined for switzerland which has the international precall 01141 and the hoster which requires a 9 for operator selector. So i try to give Bell the number in the following format:

901141XXXXXXXXX "The call you made cannot be connected as dialed..."

91141XXXXXXXXX "You do not need a long distance access code for the number you've dialed..."

the q931 debug says the following for these two options:

000275: .Feb  4 22:07:53.941: ISDN Se0/2/0:23 Q931: pak_private_number: Invalid type/plan 0x0 0x1 may be overriden; sw-type 3

I also tried with no external phone number masks, but the result was exactly the same.

Does anybody has an idea what i coul do about that? Thank you for your help!

You must always drop 9, that is for international send to telco:

011

If using MGCP, also set plan/type unknown/unknwin in CM.

Sorry, i forgot to mentioned but i also tried without the 9. Result is that the call gets immediately disconnected without hearing any operator or tone. Here the logs:

000608: Feb  5 13:17:55.666: ISDN Se0/2/0:23 Q931: pak_private_number: Invalid type/plan 0x0 0x1 may be overriden; sw-type 3

As mentioned above. Need to change:

Plan:ISDN, Type:National

to unknown / unknown
