Intercom Feature

On our old phone system we were able to set up a paging group that would allow a manager to push a button and speak through the speakerphone to all members of his paging group (one way). I know the Intercom Feature in 7.x does not allow shared extensions, but has anyone come up with a workaround or have any suggestions on a workaround?

CUCM does not have paging capabilities which is what you're looking for. You need a 3rd party to do that.

There are plenty of recommendations if you search paging in NetPro.

Berbee Informacast is a very popular one.
