Hi all
I got a CUCM7.0 and need some advice about licensing.
With the basic setup, the CUCM is shipped with 50 Phone License units. Which license-upgrade do I need to
order to get an upgrade to 500 units.
Who can explain me those license below?
INCREMENT CRS_ENHICDSRVR cisco 7.0 permanent uncounted \
VENDOR_STRING=<count>1</count> HOSTID=ANY \
....
INCREMENT CRS_ENH_SEAT cisco 7.0 permanent uncounted \
VENDOR_STRING=<count>5</count> HOSTID=ANY \
...
...
INCREMENT CCM_NODE cisco 7.0 permanent uncounted \
VENDOR_STRING=<Count>1</Count><OrigMacId>00xxxxxxxx</OrigMacId><LicFileVersion>1.0</LicFileVersion> \
...
INCREMENT SW_FEATURE cisco 7.0 permanent uncounted \
VENDOR_STRING=<Count>1</Count><OrigMacId>00xxxxxxxx</OrigMacId><LicFileVersion>1.0</LicFileVersion> \
...
Thanks and greets,
Norbert

Hi Norbert,
You are most welcome my friend
You can use these for sure;
4x LIC-CM-DL-100= Unified CM Device License - 100 units = 400 DLU
The CH license is not used in 5.x, 6.x and 7.x CUCM deployments
so you don't need to worry about them anymore.
Cheers!

Hi Norbert,
The licenses you have linked do not reflect any DLU/Phone licenses.
Here is what you have so far;
#1 - is a UCCX 7 server
#2 - are the UCCX Agent seats
#3 - CUCM 7 Node License
#4 - CUCM 7 Software feature License
You would want this part#
LIC-CM-DL-500= Unified CM Device License - 500 units
Here is an example;
Permanent IP Phone Licenses
INCREMENT PHONE_UNIT cisco 7.0 permanent uncounted \
VENDOR_STRING=
HOSTID=000bcd4ee59d OVERDRAFT=5 \
NOTICE="
0313 A36F B317 F359 1E08 5E15 E524 1915 66EA BC9F A82B CBC8 \
4CAF 2930 017F D594 3E44 EBA3 04CD 01BF 38BA BF1B"
The preceding license file includes following information:
•No expiration date for this license exists as indicated by the keyword permanent.
•This license file provides 500 PHONE_UNIT licenses.
•OVERDRAFT=5 indicates (5% of 500) allowed overdraft. Cisco determines the overdraft value.
•The Cisco specific fieldLicFileID, identifies this license file.
•You can add multiple increment lines for same feature (phone unit license or node license) in a license file to increase the license count. None of the INCREMENT lines should be identical and each of them should be signed independently.

Hope this helps!

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the fast reply.
Can multiple 100 unit license be activated as well ? E.g. 4 license with 100 units (4x100=400 units)?
What's about the device license, e.g. CP-79xxG-CH1? Does the CUCM adds this as unit license or it's only a device license (phone)?
Greets,
Norbert
